here we grow!
If you've been following the Shoppe for a while now, you probably remember the good ole' Etsy days. So proud to say that we've come so far since then and have pivoted with trends, pandemics, life events and more. C'est la Vie!
After some momentous life pivots, I started to feel less of a connection to just "selling things" and most importantly it was taking away from my desire to create. After a lil' branding refresh and some much needed time hammering out the vision for the future, I knew I wanted to get back to my roots of creating. Coming up on nearly ten years of owning a business has taught me so much along the way. Add a new job into the Gumbo pot and I really had to iron out the details but more importantly wanted to focus on my purpose.
Let's get to the nitty gritty, so The Shoppe as you have known and loved will still exist but will only be featuring stellar (not shit), products that I source or unique treasures that I find which you will be able to shop in the Vintage and Curiosities Collection. Maison will focus on home goods (not HomeGoods lol), Fête will focus on party goodies (from birthdays to brides) and Saison will focus on seasonal goods. Our new Design Services have also entered the chat, which I'm so excited about! I was doing a lot of all of this on the side and am now ecstatic to offer them as full-services. So whether you need a lil' website maintenance or some home staging and color theory, I'd love to help! I saved the best for last, CUSTOM DESIGNS! I've missed this so much, it ain't even funny so let's bring it back, baby! If you have an event with a custom design for drinkware or apparel in mind, I'd love to flex my skills and get back to doing what I love!
So that was a lot but lastly, while this is technically a bLoG, I am ten out of ten not a bLogGeR. 😂 Consider this just a longer Instagram caption since words are less there these days. I've had so much local love (and across the map) and I wouldn't be here still standing with this dream of mine that I love so much without YOU and I wanted to create a small space on the internets to keep our connection strong and the vibes high. I can't thank you enough for being here STILL after all these years!
